Former Vice President Kamala Harris is hinting that she may make another bid for the presidency.
In a new interview with the BBC, Harris said she's open to another White House bid despite her 2024 loss to President Donald Trump.
When asked, Harris said she could "possibly" still be the nation's first woman president.
“I am not done,” she added. “I have lived my entire career a life of service, and it’s in my bones.”
The former vice president noted that she hasn't made any decisions about her political future but emphasized that "there are many ways to serve."
Harris had reportedly considered running for California governor in 2026, but ruled out that option earlier this year, fueling speculation about a 2028 presidential campaign.
Following Harris' 2024 defeat, polls show mixed enthusiasm among Democrats. A POLITICO survey conducted over the summer found California Democrats slightly favor Governor Gavin Newsom over Harris in a potential presidential matchup.
During her interview with the BBC, Harris brushed off polling concerns.
“There are all kinds of polls that will tell you a variety of things,” Harris said. “I’ve never listened to polls.”
