Trump's FBI Director Pick Pushed Bogus Supplements To 'Detox' From Vaccines

Kash Patel, President-elect Donald Trump's pick for FBI director, has repeatedly pushed a supplement line that claims to help people "detox" from COVID-19 vaccines.

According to NBC News, Patel promoted supplements from the company Warrior Essentials in February and April on his Truth Social account.

“Mrna detox, reverse the vaxx n get healthy,” Patel wrote in one post, tagging Warrior Essentials.

“Spike the Vax, order this homerun kit to rid your body of the harms of the vax,” he said in another post.

Patel appeared to plug Warrior Essentials' "Spike Protein Detox Protocol," a set of three supplements that claim to "undo the damage from the spike protein," a component of the coronavirus. mRNA vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna prompt the body to make and fight an altered version of the protein to train the immune system, per NBC News.

Warrior Essentials is among several companies that have pushed products on unfounded theories about the dangers of vaccines.

It's unclear whether Patel, who was chief of staff to acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller during the Trump administration, was paid to promote the supplement line. If Congress supports Trump's nomination for FBI director, Patel will oversee over 37,000 employees and a requested annual budget of roughly $11.3 billion.

In a statement, Warrior Essentials said it was “proud to have Kash Patel as a supporter and advocate.”

“While the so-called ‘experts’ who ignored vaccine injuries and pushed failed policies scramble to defend their narratives, we deliver real, science-backed solutions that have already helped thousands reclaim their health,” the company said.
