A new photo of NBA legend Michael Jordan has sparked concerns about his health.
On Thursday (September 19), Jordan was spotted with his wife, Yvette Prieto, in Monaco. The pair attended the Monaco vs. Barcelona UEFA Champions League soccer match where Monaco won 2-1.
Bleacher Report shared photos of the former basketball star on social media, sparking concern among fans. Social media users noticed Jordan's sclera, or the whites of the eyes, appeared to be discolored.
Fans speculated that Jordan could be suffering from jaundice, a medical condition that turns the skin, sclera, and mucous membranes yellow. "Yellowing of the eyes can occur if your liver, pancreas, or gallbladder isn’t working properly," according to the Cleveland Clinic.
"Does he have jaundice?" one X, formerly Twitter, user tweeted.
"That boy’s liver is cooked," another user said.
"Check on that liver, Mike..." a third user commented.
This isn't the first time Jordan has faced speculation about his health due to the color of his eyes. Rumor swirled about Jordan's health following the release of Netflix’s The Last Dance docuseries in 2020.
Jordan hasn't publicly addressed speculation about his health.
